Technical stuff

Normanton Photography uses high quality digital SLR cameras, lenses and equipment.

All images are shot in RAW format. Images can be supplied in RAW, and most formats such as JPEG, TIFF, DNG and Photoshop PSD. Images can be sized to the client's requirements and will normally be supplied on CD-Rom.

We only modify photographs using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and Photoshop CS3 to maintain the quality and integrity of the images.

We are also able to work with 35mm film, if required.

Restoration

We can undertake digital restoration of rare, precious or important photographs. These can be supplied to us in digital format, or as prints for us to scan and restore digitally.

Restoration can remove marks and blemishes which spoil a photograph. We try and keep as closely to the original image as possible so we do not add anything which wasn't originally there! Work of this type can be detailed and time-consuming, so please contact us for a quotation.
